Bert Lochs plays a Van Laar B8 trumpet and a van Laar B2 flugel. A customized Curry 10.5C trumpet mouthpiece and a self designed piece on his flugelhorn. Both pieces share a sixties (Ratzenberger) Jettone rim.
Somsen's solid basswork, relaxed and swinging drumming by Pieter Bast, the harmonious sound of Florian Zenker's guitar and TilmarJunius' piano together molded the space and fundament on which – in the main place– Bert Lochs' flugelhornsolo's stood out clear and joyful.
