Bert Lochs plays a Van Laar B8 trumpet and a van Laar B2 flugel. A customized Curry 10.5C trumpet mouthpiece and a self designed piece on his flugelhorn. Both pieces share a sixties (Ratzenberger) Jettone rim.
Reviews
The combination is a blessed one. A fine rhythm section and the leaders share a consentaneous view on their music in which melancholy and optimism fight a battle for priority.
